Kenneth Joseph Simon passed away peacefully at his home on February 7, 2020 in Spring, TX at the age of 81.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Sofia Simon; children Walton Simon, Scott Simon, Kevin Simon, Dallas Simon, Isai Solis, Rebecca Simon, Andrew Simon, Ruthanne Simon; siblings Ory Simon. He is preceded in death by his parents Ory Joseph Simon of Lafayette, LA and Maude Simon, nee Duhon of Lafayette, LA.

Kenneth was born on April 13, 1938 in Lake Charles, LA to Ory and Maude Simon. He graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1956 and later from Nashville Auto-Diesel College. Kenneth was an accomplished mechanic blessed with numerous children over the years who remember him as a dedicated father who encouraged them to give one hundred percent in pursuit of their goals.

Kenneth was skilled at working on machines of all types and often helped others repair their vehicles. He was a witty individual who loved to strike up conversations with those around him often bringing a smile to their faces. Prior to retirement, he was an active member of his church volunteering his time as an usher. He took refuge in his faith and enjoyed sharing said faith with others.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 am, February 10, 2020 at Klein Funeral Home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379 and burial to follow at Klein Memorial Park on FM 2920. A reception will follow at Spring First Church, 1851 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring, TX 77388. Pastor Robert Hogan will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kenneth's life.
