Yvonne Suzanne Arms

We celebrate the homegoing of Yvonne Suzanne Arms born April 26, 1956, and went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, October 19, 2021.  Suzanne served her entire life in ministry to others.

The first born to Rev. Bill and Yvonne Moorman, she grew up learning the value of a life devoted to seeing lives changed by the power of a relationship with Jesus Christ.

At 18 years of age, she married Evangelist Phil Arms.  Together they ministered across the United States and parts of the world on radio and television as well as revivals and crusades, proclaiming the Word of God. She also served by Phil's side at the Friday and Saturday night outreach, Peacemaker Ministries, in Galena Park, Pasadena and South Houston reaching hundreds if not thousands of adults and young people for Christ.  She also served alongside Phil as Pastor's wife at Houston Church and Worship Center in Houston, Texas.

Suzanne was an accomplished pianist, solo recording artist and published author.  She taught Women's Conferences, Bible classes and Women's Retreats.  The list of her accomplishments is extensive, but her greatest joy was being a wife and mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Yvonne Moorman.  She is survived by her husband Phil Arms, her daughter, Brittany Pounders (husband Colin); daughter, Lindsey Paulsen (husband Zach); and her son, Philip Arms Jr. (wife Amber); brother, Philip Moorman (wife Ellen); sister Liz Glover (husband Grady); and sister, Jackie Duncan (husband Brin).  She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Ethan Pounders, Haley Pounders, Lexi Pounders, Savannah Paulsen, Delaney Paulsen, Tucker Arms and numerous nieces and nephews.
