Y olanda C. Gonzalez, 68, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Rio Grande City, Texas, on May 06, 1956, to her parents, Guillermo & Celia Clarke. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, who will be sadly missed by all her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvaro Gonzalez Jr.; granddaughter, Odilia Saldana; parents; two brothers; and two sisters Guillermo Clarke Jr., Felipe Clarke, San Juanita Clarke, and Diana Clarke.

Yolanda is survived by one son, Alvaro (Perla) Gonzalez III; four daughters, Bernadette (Tobbie) Garza, Reyna (Antonio) Ramirez, Milena Gonzalez (Oscar Garza), and Anabel Lopez; three brothers, Humberto Clarke, Adan Clarke, and Jesus Clarke; four sisters, Maria Mireles, Sylvia Rodriguez, Anita Garza, and Eva Clarke; twenty-one grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to visit with the family between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, at Klein Funeral Home - CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065. A vigil will take place at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Road, Houston, TX 77065, with interment to follow at Klein Memorial Park in Cypress.
