Mr. Nix, our wonderful and loving father, and devoted husband passed away suddenly November 12th 2019.

Our daddy and loving husband was born on January 20th 1942 in Cisco (Rising Star) TX on a farm. He married momma in June of 1961 at Seventh St. Baptist Church in Ballinger, TX.

He raised us 3 girls. Debbie, Laura and Misty with love and kindness. He was an amazing granddaddy to his grand babies Aurora, Liam, and James.

He was a man of faith who loved momma and us kids fiercely. A proud Tarleton Aggie and later a proud UHV Cougar. He loved history and had a head for business. He will be missed by so many.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Nix; and his granddaughter, Sara LaFon Nix.

Woodrow is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jorita Nix; daughters, Laura Nix, and Misty Nix Dempsey and husband Nathan; and grandchildren, Aurora Dempsey, Liam Dempsey, and James Dempsey II.
