"Jay"

Willie Monroe Oldham, Jr., (Jay), age 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, August 14, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 19, 1938 to Ruby Jo and Willie Monroe Oldham, Sr. in Fort Worth who welcomed their son in heaven. Jay is survived by his sister, Melinda Davis, his two sons Willie Monroe, III (Dub) and Mike Oldham. Dub's wife Vicki, their son, Wesley, and Dub's daughters Shannan, Stephanie, and Samantha, Mike's daughters Chelsea and Courtney and Jay's stepchildren, Allen Hafer, Lisa Castro and Valerie Harrison. Allen's daughters Nicole Mounce and Hailey Hafer, and Lisa's husband Steve, and sons, Daniel, Matthew & Bryan, and Valerie's sons, Hunter Duffy and Keagan Harrison. Jay was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Pamela Oldham.

Jay was the epitome of an honest, hardworking, sincere and loving man. He will be missed by his family and many friends. He is with Jesus and is at peace. Until we see you again Jay - we love you!

Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 AM at Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia. Interment will be at Prairie Lea Cemetery, 508 S. Jackson St., Brenham, TX  77833. Relatives and friends may meet his family Thursday from 5-8 PM at Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia. Contributions in memory of Jay may be made to Memorial Herman Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
