William "Bill" Snyder
passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Tomball, TX at the age of 72.
Bill
is survived by his wife, Carol Snyder, and his daughter, Julia Snyder. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Snyder; his father, Ernest Snyder; and his brother, Ernest Snyder II.
Bill
was born on June 1, 1946, in Aurora, Illinois, to Ernest and Lois Snyder. He graduated from Michigan State University
with a degree in Engineering. In 1994, he married Carol Vinson, whom he first met in a restaurant in New Orleans, LA. Bill not only gained a wife, but also a beautiful daughter named Julia. After moving to Chicago, he began working for Spraying Systems as an engineer and continued working with the company for over 30 years. His family remembers him as a kind, good-humored individual that always went out of his way to help others.
Bill
was an accomplished professional test driver of fine vehicles and often took the newest and best machines out for a spin. He was a generous individual who loved his family and never tired of sharing his endless supply of "dad" jokes. He was passionate about traveling around the world and photography. For instance, he traveled to the Amazon with the church and assisted in building housing. As a dedicated volunteer, he also taught children's bible study classes. Bill was a remarkable person with a beautiful heart and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 1, beginning at 10:00 a.m. hosted by Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375, with a reception to follow at the Harkins' residence. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bill's life.
