W. O. “Bill” Trimble Jr., of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of August 23, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on March 26, 1927, in Sipsey, Alabama son of W. O. Trimble Sr. & Myrtie Doss Trimble. Bill grew up in the Cullman and Trimble Alabama areas. After graduating from Citronelle High School, where he met his future wife, Pauline, he attended the University of Alabama. There, he served as a class yearbook photographer, worked alongside author Nelle Harper Lee, and photographed visiting celebrities like Bob Hope and Doris Day. Bill also proudly served as a Navy medic at the Treasure Island naval hospital during World War II. 

On June 7, 1948, Bill married the love of his life, Pauline Ford. Together, they raised a family while living across Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Bill spent over four decades in the transportation industry, beginning with Eastern Airlines, moving to Baton Rouge for a tanker hauling company, and eventually retiring after more than a decade with ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia. During his time abroad, he earned his master’s degree in business management from the University of Saint Thomas. 

Returning to Houston in the 1980s, Bill and Pauline owned and operated a lawn service, started and helped operate a security company with his sons, and successfully ran an online vintage clothing resale business on eBay. 

Bill was an avid traveler, exploring Europe, driving an RV across the country, and regularly visiting Ted’s and Teresa’s ranches in Colorado. For several years, he flew to Paula and Larry’s home in Anchorage, Alaska, in the late summer to escape the Texas heat. He had a lifelong passion for photography, hunting, pawn shop treasure seeking, and collecting cameras, binoculars, knives, guns, and western books. 

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pauline; his son, Joe; his brothers, Joe and Gene; his grandsons, Bryon, Cody, and Jacob; and his daughter-in-law, Roxie. 

He is survived by his children, Gyinn (Jerry), Bill F (Roxie), Paula (Larry), Teresa (Tom), and Ted (Melanie); his grandchildren, Julie (Margaux), Amanda (Bailey), Matthew (Lindsay), Patrick, Christopher, and Holly (Jarret); and his eleven great-grandchildren, Deane, Brayden, Conner, Matalyn, Jacob, Tyler, Everett, Thatcher, Garrison, Lilah Mae, and Ronan. Sister in-law, Judy Trimble. Nephew, Jonathan Trimble (Alina). Niece, Jennifer Trimble. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on September 18, 2026, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main St., Tomball, TX. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors next to Pauline at Klein Memorial Park Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the Northcrest Activity Building, 23010 Northcrest Drive, Spring, TX.
