William "Billy" Thair Strawser

Billy was born June 8, 1958 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Robert K. and Helen M. Strawser and passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 3, 2018.

Preceded in death by his parents, Billy is survived by his wife Sandra Strawser, daughters Shannon Strawser McCracken and husband Matthew, and Calin Marie Strawser; he had one grandson, Jude McCracken. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Strawser and wife Lea, Margaret Tuch and husband Kenneth, David Strawser and wife Melissa, Sharon Boening and husband Teddy, plus numerous nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends and extended family.

Billy was the life of any party; there was never a dull moment when he was around. He was employed by Kilgore Multifamily where he served as a Project Executive. He was a mentor to many and respected by all those whose path he crossed.

Besides his love of his family, Billy loved his weekends tailgating at the Houston Texans football games where he was always the first one in line. When he wasn't cheering on the Texans at every home game, he was at his cabin in Buffalo, TX.

Billy never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews will always remember him as G.I. Joe and Blanket Man.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm, with visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm, at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball.
