William Henry Rogers, III, 59, of Spring, passed away May 10, 2021.  He was born January 10, 1962, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, to the late William Henry Rogers, Jr. and Dorothy Keiser Rogers.  Including his mother, he is survived by his wife, Stacy A. Rogers; children, Holly P. Hoffman and husband Benjamin, William H. Rogers, IV and soon to be daughter-in-law Madison, Natalie M. Rogers, and Turley Duque; sisters, Christine M. Able and Edith L. Rogers; brother, Charles Rogers; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends who became family.

Professionally, Bill served his country in the Army, eventually becoming an MP (military police).  He transitioned from there to begin his career with the Houston Police Department where he served for 36 years.  His accomplishments there are numerous but his biggest successes are the relationships he made along the way.  Bill valued people and treated every person with respect.

Personally, he was the ultimate family man.  He and Stacy were happily married for 27 years.  They have 4 children who he genuinely has convinced they are each his favorite one.  He intentionally spent time with each one of them making sure they understood God's love for them.  He taught his son how to treat a woman and his daughters to accept nothing less than how he treated their mother.  Stacy, Holly, William, Natalie and Turley never doubted that they were his priority.

Bill had a heart of gold.  He worked so hard for his family and was looking forward to retiring next year to sit back and enjoy the fruits of his labor.  He and Stacy were going to travel and become grandparents and do all of the things they had added to their bucket list for 27 years.  His legacy is immense.  He mentored his children, bonus children, exchange students, nieces, nephews and friends.  We have no doubt people will be talking about Bill and his influence for generations to come.
