William Lowery Norman Sr. of Tomball TX, passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 63. He was born on December 6, 1957 in W Palm Beach Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur (Bill) and Catherine Norman. He is survived by seven siblings - Darlene, Wade, Carol (CJ), James, Troy, Chad and Kim and his step-mother Cheryl Schmidt. Bill married Brenda Stovall and have three children, Will Jr., Jacob (Caroline) and Rebekah. He was blessed with 5 grandchildren – Oliver, Leilah, Lennon, Katherine and Vivienne.

Bill worked in the grocery distribution industry for 22 years. 15 years with McLane Company, where he started as truck dispatcher and worked up to Division President. He served the company proudly at five locations across the country.

In 2003, Bill left corporate America to pursue his calling in ministry. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Houston, TX where he received his Master of Divinity/Master of Arts-Theology degrees. He served as Executive Pastor at Metropolitan Baptist Church, Houston, TX 2004-2012. Chief Operation Officer at NavPress, CO, 2012 – 2013. Executive Pastor at First Baptist Church Jacksonville, NC 2014-2017, Vice President of Strategic Planning at Medi-Share (Christian Care Ministries), FL, Associate Pastor of People Church in Tomball, TX 2019-…..

Throughout the years, Bill had the privilege of being blessed as he worked in Kenya, Africa with DJ Moz and the Kubamba evangelical ministry in public schools, Mathias Sserugo at Mashah Village Orphanage and school in Jinga, Uganda and Pastor Zachariah with evangelical crusade ministry and church planting. "He Loved" in Ecuador on several occasions through mission trips building, preaching and teaching. His evangelistic ministries reached Mexico, Philippines, Venezuela and Argentina.

Lastly, Bill was an employee of InterLinc Mortgage Services, LLC under the title of "Special Projects Assistant to President and CEO", as well as "Company Chaplin". He was instrumental in leading several executive search campaigns, in addition to participating in a multitude of executive level projects. Bill's proudest title was InterLinc Chaplin, where he prayed with employees across the country on a regular basis while simultaneously overseeing a company-wide weekly Bible Study. Although Bill made a significant impact in his short time with InterLinc, his biggest contribution was his genuine love for people. He simply made people better.

Bill immersed himself leading BearMan and RoughWaters Ministries. The Mission of both BearMan (National Division) and RoughWaters (International Division) is to lead people to a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He orchestrated BearMan endeavors across the United States and was

intricately involved with RoughWaters in Uganda and Kenya bearing witness, through both divisions, to tens of thousands giving their life to Christ.

If you knew Bill, you know he loved to talk. He knew everyone's name. Known as "The Mayor". He enjoyed barbecuing. He knew so many people that he could run in to someone he knew even in an airport. There will ever be, one "Bill".

He loved us, took care of us and was always there for us no matter the need. We love him and miss him. Our memories of him as a loving husband, giving father and awesome pawpaw will be with us always.
