William Joseph Kubiak, Billy, went to join his Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was born seventh of nine children to William & Anne Kubiak of Houston, Texas. He attended school in the Cy-Fair district where he was a favorite all through school. He had natural charisma & a genuine quality that grew friendships lasting from grade school until the end of his life. Billy represented his family, schools, company & friends well. In high school he was given titles such as Most Handsome, Most Lovable Football Player, Most Popular & Mr. Cy-Fair High School, while never expecting or being aware of his admiration. He had a natural confidence & swagger, but never arrogant, which was so much a part of his humility. It was important to Billy to make everyone feel welcome. Billy attended St. Edwards University on a baseball scholarship immediately following graduation. He worked in the oil & gas industry & eventually started KUBCO Decanter Services Inc. in 1999, where he mentored young employees & built strong relationships enduring decades. Billy was most happy in an outdoorsman's environment as an avid golfer, hunter & fisherman, but his true joy was the camaraderie shared with friends & spending time with his family.

Billy is survived by his wife, Candis Carr Kubiak; his daughters Melanie Ochoa & husband Jonathan, Randee Walch & husband Jordan & grandson Micah Ochoa; brothers Jim, Lawrence, Robbie, David, Joe & Chris Kubiak & their wives; sisters Carolyn Trojanowski, & Mary LeBlanc; step children Heath Beeman & Shannon Butterfras & granddaughters Adalyn & Vivian Butterfras as well as many nieces and nephews.
