William Travis Kesler, age 84, of Spring, Texas, passed from this life peacefully at home on May 14, 2026, surrounded by loving family.
Born in Carnesville, Georgia on March 3, 1942, Travis was the son of the late Clarence and Ruby Redmond Kesler and was a 1960 graduate of Franklin County High School. In 1961, he married his high school sweetheart, Cheryl Bond Kesler, beginning a partnership that would span more than six decades.
Travis worked for 18 years at Reliance Electric in Athens, Georgia where he rose to the position of Plant Manager. He later worked at Toshiba International in Houston, Texas as the Manufacturing Operations Manager. Health problems prompted him to retire in 2004. Aside from family, some things he enjoyed most were University of Georgia football, fishing, an evening glass of wine, and his dog Katy who still checks his room often hoping for his return.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marilyn Kesler York.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Cheryl of Spring, Texas; son Scott of Spring, Texas; daughter Kylee Stephens (Ben) and grandson Jaxson of Austin, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is extremely grateful for the skill, professionalism, and kindness of OmegaLife Hospice both during hospice and afterwards.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
