William (Bill) N. Hudson was born on March 11, 1929 to William and Nancy Duff Hudson in Barberton, Ohio. He was the second of two children, with an older sister, Suzanne. Bill met the love of his life, Joanne, while attending North High School in Akron, Ohio. Upon graduation in 1948, he went on to serve for eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Staff Sargent (SSGT). Bill and Joanne then moved to Rochester, New York, where Bill obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1959.

The Hudson's headed south and Bill went to work for Gulf Printing Company in Houston, Texas. He served in management positions for Gulf Printing during his entire career spanning 34 years, overseeing printing operations of multiple cities' phone directories and yellow pages. Bill was a devout Christian and served in many capacities, including as a Deacon, while attending Church of God congregations since 1968.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of more than 68 years, Joanne Dionne Hudson; his son James William Hudson and his wife Debbie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his son Kenneth Ralph Hudson and his wife Lora of Fairfield, California; his daughter Jeanine Hudson Burt and her husband Kevin of Cypress, Texas; his son John Duff Hudson and his wife Rochelle of Allen, Texas; his half-sister Sharon Hudson Williams and husband Kent of Orem, Utah. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Bill will be interred at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. A private memorial service, honoring Bill, will be held at Klein Funeral Home-Champions with Mr. Jim Servidio presiding. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no formal burial service.

Revelation 21:1-4

1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
