Obituary

William Theodore Glass "Ted" was born March 13, 1935 in Miami Oklahoma. He was the
youngest child of William O. Glass and Mable Glass. He had three older sisters preceding him
in death, Arizona, Marcelene, and Elizabeth. In 1945 at the age of 10, his family moved to
Arizona. In 1955, he married Joan Kennedy. They had three sons, Clinton, Kenneth, and Greg,
Greg living only a few hours after birth. In 1971, after the death of his first wife, he met and
married Leola in Tucson, Arizona; she had three daughters, Charlene, Cynthia, and Cheryl.
They always joked they were the Brady Bunch, minus one. Ted worked at Armor Foods,
Country Pride Foods, which was later purchased by Con Agra Foods. He managed a plant in
Tucson, then became manager of Con Agra Foods in Houston, Texas. In Houston, Ted
managed a large meat distributorship while Leola managed four teens and one preteen as a
new family. Together they moved to the home they've lived in for 46 years. Ted is preceded in
death by two step daughters, Charlene and Cynthia and a Granddaughter Rachel. As he ran a
business he helped raise and direct five children through high school and their choice of mates.
Ted and Leola have thirteen grandchildren, Jason, Kristal, Denver, Alisha, Laura, Lindsey,
Andrew, Taylor, Kellie, James, Ashley, Tiffany, and Jessica. They also have twelve great
grandchildren, Avery, Kylie, Catelyn, Jameson, Mason, Madilyn, Mallori, Ruby, Whitley, Jake,
Caden, and Olivia. Also grands, Tristen, Jace, Kendy, and Ashlyn. Ted went to the presence of
Jesus on Monday, the 4th of December to be with other family and friends who have preceded
him. But, on earth, we will deeply love him and miss him.
