William (Bill) Fredrick Schmults
September 23, 1939 – May 25, 2026

Bill Schmults, age 86, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, surrounded by his sons after his battle with cancer.

He was born on September 23, 1939, in the Bronx, New York, to John and Gladys Schmults. Bill graduated from Pace College with a degree in accounting. He was drafted into the Army where he was stationed in Korea.  He married his wife, Patricia, and had two boys. He worked for ExxonMobil for 30 years. Bill was known for his love for and unwavering support of his wife and family.

Bill enjoyed watching westerns, college football, putting together puzzles, ice cream, spending holidays (especially cooking turkeys) with loved ones, and growing tomatoes and other vegetables in his garden. Bill will be remembered for his selflessness, kindness, humor, generosity, and dedication to his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Schmults; his parents, John and Gladys Schmults; and his brother, John Schmults.

Bill is survived by his two sons, William and Edward Schmults, his daughter-in-law, Michelle Schmults, and his granddaughter, Natalee Schmults.
