William Allen Farnell, 71, of Spring, passed away June 25, 2018. He was born February 4, 1947, in Lake Worth, FL to the late Everte Foster Farnell and Ruth Grace Smith Farnell.
William Farnell was a loving husband, father, Papa, and brother. He was born and raised in Lake Worth, Florida. At a young age of 18, William joined the Air Force and repaired fighter jets during the Vietnam War. He had a work ethic like no other, and later spent most of his career helping Strong Industries grow into the company it is today. William had a passion for living life on the edge. Even at 70 years old, you could often find him at the race track pushing his motorcycle to the limits. Many of his friends lovingly called him "Wild Bill." He was definitely one of a kind. William will be greatly missed and will not soon be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Kay Bippert Farnell; sons, Michael Farnell and Robert Read; daughters, Miranda LeAnn Farnell Gillen and husband Bryan Joseph Gillen, and Shannon Bippert Ward and husband Eric Alan Rodgers; grandchildren, Cory Allen Farnell, Cameron Kyle Ward, Megan Michelle Ward, Addison Lynn Gillen, Christian Michael Gillen, Austen Read, Ryan Read, and Chase Read; great granddaughter, Kasie Irene Valenzuela; brothers, Robert Farnell, and Everte Farnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
