Pastor Bill Elliott, born December 2, 1942, in Houston, went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2019, in The Woodlands, at the age of 76.

Bill was a graduate of Reagan High School in Houston and the University of Houston. He worked in Engineering and Design before being called into full-time ministry. In 1987, he began attending seminary and in 1991 he graduated from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. In 1994, he joined the staff at Champion Forest Baptist Church where he faithfully served as a beloved pastor in singles and adult ministries for 25 years.

On December 21, 1965, he married Shirley Hunter at Baptist Temple in Houston. They were happily married for 53 years, something they were both very proud of.

Pastor Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley; his brother, Nilon H. Elliott; cousins, Jenise Cronan and husband Jerry, Terri Cummings and husband Scott, Robert Toudouze and wife Marianna, and Karen Twomey and husband David; nephews, Keith Elliott and wife Stephanie and Kirk Elliott and wife Debbie; and a niece, Jill Howard and husband Mark.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Family Life Center at Champion Forest Baptist Church, 15555 Stuebner-Airline Road, Houston, TX 77069. A funeral service celebrating Pastor Bill's life and faith will begin at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Klein Memorial Park, FM 2920, Tomball.
