WILLIAM FLOYD CULLINS
On March 7, 2019, William Floyd Cullins of Tomball, Texas, passed away peacefully after a long battle with leukemia at the age of 83.
Floyd was born on January 23, 1936, in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Howard and Jewel Cullins. He spent his childhood in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, where he graduated from Enterprise High School in 1954. Floyd married Peggy Sue Alexander on December 21, 1956, at the First Baptist Church in Groves, Texas. They remained happily married for 62 years.
Floyd held a lifelong career as an Electrical Superintendent with Burton Shipyard. He was an active member of both the IBEW Local 479 Chapter and Bridge City Masonic Lodge No. 1345. As a young man, Floyd enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Later in life, he spent his days feeding the fish, tinkering with his 1986 Impala and mowing the grass.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Peggy Alexander Cullins; son William F. Cullins, Jr. and husband Theo; son Kevin L. Cullins and wife Misty; son Joel H. Cullins and wife Angie.
The lights of his life, his Grandchildren and Great-Children –Grandchildren; Casey, Dustin, Chelsea, Carter, Bree and Journi. Great-Grandchildren; Ava and Brantley
Floyd's family was utmost in his heart. He always put his family first and cherished the times that they were all able to spend together.
All who knew and loved him will miss him immensely.
