William (Bill) J.C. Burton born March 13, 1929 in Orange, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2020 in Tomball, Texas. He was 91 years old. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Ethel Newhouse Burton, Father, Bryan J. Burton, Wife, Elizabeth Palmer Burton, Sister Betty Jean Pinson, Daughter, Barbara Ann Burton, Grandson, Nicholas Bryan Burton, Great Grandson, Andrew Lillywhite.
He is survived by his Sisters in Law, Mary Ellen Darden and Margaret Humble.
His Children: Thomas C. Burton, William Bryan Burton, Ellen C. Murphy, Phillip D. Burton, Elizabeth (Betsy) Arcia, Robert R. Burton, and Mary L. McDaniel.
His Grandchildren: Scarlett Snider, Savannah Lillywhite, Steven Burton, Justin Murphy, David Murphy, Philip Burton, Mary Taylor, Jennifer Buehring, Brittney Bui, Dawn Burton, Chris Burton, Sara Burton, Meagan McDaniel and Jacob McDaniel.

Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force December 29, 1950 as Airman First Class. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant and Retired March 3, 1971 after 20 years of active service. He returned to Texas with his family, and later moved to Russellville, Kentucky, where he resided from 1982 to 1998 – He then returned to Texas after the passing of his beloved wife to be near children.
He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and we will all miss him dearly.
