William (Bill) Buhrman was born on August 8, 1935, to Robert Asbury Buhrman and Elsie Viola Buhrman in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  He moved to Heaven on January 1 2020, after a six-month battle with cancer.  Bill met Rozanne, his wife of 64 and 1/2 years, while they were in high school.  They married in 1955 and have two children William Robert Buhrman, Jr., his wife Pina, and Lisa Ann Swan and her husband Eric.

Bill and Rozanne have three grandchildren, Warren Robert Buhrman and his new bride, Brooke, step grandchildren, Daniel Albelice and wife, Fereshta and Natalie VanDruten, and four great grandchildren, Bella, Liam, Emery, and Giovanni.

Bill's mother, dad and older sister, Margie, have proceeded him in death.  He is survived by his wife and children, younger brother, Robert Buhrman, sister-in-law, Mary, their three children, Sherry, Amy and Adam and their spouses and children, sisters-in-law, Carolyn Zimmerman, Barbara Fleming and Nancy Heberle and many other nieces and nephews.

After working in the accounting department of a local automobile dealership in Harrisburg, Bill took an accounting position with Golf Oil Company and furthered his education taking evening classes at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in finance and accounting.  After several years with Gulf, Bill was transferred to a subsidiary of Gulf, Laurel Pipeline Company, with offices located just outside of Pittsburgh.  After 5 years there, he returned to work at Gulf Oil in Philadelphia supervising its payroll department.

In 1976, Bill was transferred to Houston by Gulf that later merged with Chevron.  After a total of 32 combined years with Gulf, Laurel and Chevron, Bill took retirement in 1987 when Chevron moved its Houston headquarters to San Francisco.  Following his retirement, Bill worked briefly in real estate, then took a position at Northwest Bible Church as its Financial Director and eventually filled the position of Financial Director at Tomball Bible Church until his official retirement on December 31, 2019.

Over 43 years of membership at TBC, he has served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon, elder, Facilities Manager and finally Financial Director, in addition to taking care of benevolence needs and spending many, many hours listening to and counseling many who were struggling with difficult life issues.

Bill loved serving his Lord at TBC, his family as a loving, devoted husband, father and grandfather, Aggie football and all of God's furry four-legged creatures, especially those belonging to the canine family.
