William Frederick Briggs was born on October 26, 1946 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Robert Briggs II and Marzelle Hoffman Briggs. Bill went peacefully to be with the Lord on March 6, 2022. He and Mary were married on August 2, 1969 and celebrated 52 years of marriage. They both graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1970. He retired from Klein ISD 31 years teaching marketing and business and 34 years as the Klein ISD concession coordinator. He also retired from the Texas Air National Guard after 25 years of service as a master sergeant in the Air Force. He really enjoyed his years at Ellington AFB as a security police airman and especially watching over Air Force One every time a president flew into Houston.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Briggs of Houston, Texas; his son, William Briggs II and daughter-in-law, Christina Briggs of The Woodlands, Texas; his son,  Bradley Briggs and daughter-in-law, Sandra Briggs of Montgomery, Texas; his brother, Charles Robert Briggs, III of Spring, Texas; his sister-in-law, Ellen Bankston of Austin, Texas; his nephew and niece, Michael and Kimberly Bankston of Bandera, Texas; 5 grandchildren, William Briggs, Brooklyn Briggs, Addisyn Wagner, Brayden Briggs and Sophia Briggs.
