William Albert "Bil" Brasington, Sr., 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 6, 2018 in Houston, Texas. A graveside service will be held at Klein Memorial Park, 9714 FM2920-Klein on October 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM.

Bil was born on January 18, 1947, in Columbia, South Carolina to James Odell and Ruby Harrison Brasington. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina in 1968. He married Diane Neal on November 20, 1965, in Greenville, South Carolina, and they raised a son and a daughter. His interests included researching the genealogy of his family, rescuing Miniature Pinscher dogs and spending time with his beloved family.

Survivors include the love of his life and wife of 52 years, Diane Neal Brasington, of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, James and Juanita Motley, of Chapin, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Sandra Kelly Brasington of Columbia, South Carolina; children, William Albert "Bert" Brasington, Jr. and his wife, Aimee, of Sugar Land and Angela Howard Brasington and Samuel Walter Hundley of Spring; grandchildren, Carson Lee Meton of Houston, Chelsea Lauren Meton of Spring, Dalton Lea Brasington of Norman, Oklahoma, and Connor David Brasington of Sugar Land; great grandchildren, Danniel Lee Meton, of San Diego, California, and Rowan Neal Meton of Spring. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Odell and Ruby Harrison Brasington; brother, Robert Odell Brasington; and great grandson, Brandon Lee Meton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Miniature Pinscher Rescue Houston to assist this wonderful rescue group with senior and hospice 'Min Pins.'
