?William "Bill" Lewis Black, 75, of Spring, TX, passed away on April 25, 2017.
He and his wife, Mary Lou, attended and loved the University of Kentucky which started a lifetime of rooting for their beloved Wildcats basketball team. After marriage in 1964, a successful engineering career, and raising three boys, he retired to avocations on the Northampton Municipal Utility District Board, church missions projects mentoring youth at Schultz Elementary School, and making Christmas baskets.
His greatest joy was always being with his family, spending time with Mary Lou, his sons and daughters-in-law, and his five grandchildren. He was loved by all and will always be remembered.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Klein United Methodist Church, 5920 FM 2920, Spring, TX 77388. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Christian Life Center at the church.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Klein United Methodist Church Building Fund.
