William "Bill" Andrus, age 75, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Bill was born June 26, 1946, in Lake Charles, LA to Loyd and Leona Andrus, where he attended Lake Charles Senior High School and McNeece State University. Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Family and the Houston Astros were always most important to him. He never met a stranger and was always telling stories. He spent his career in sales and hotel management.
Bill's life was forever changed in 2012 when he was diagnosed with both Kidney and Prostate cancer. Being the fighter he was, he was determined to not let the cancer take him. He had one kidney removed and successfully beat cancer. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Bill is survived by the love of his life of over 50 years Cecelia Andrus, his two sons and daughter-n-laws, Doug and Richelle Andrus, Jason and Melissa Andrus, 4 grandchildren, Taylor Andrus, Michael and Lori Henggeler, and Tierra Henggeler; as well as his two little girls (the puppies) Chloe and Layla. He is also survived by his older sister Jody Flanagan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Loyd and Leona Andrus and brother-n-law Richard "Dick" Flanagan.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bill Andrus can be made to The American Cancer Society.
