William Alan Cannon passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 27, 2022, while at home with family in Cypress, Texas. We are deeply saddened by the loss of no longer having him in our lives, but are comforted that he is now with his Lord and Savior.

Bill, the first son of Alan Gordon Cannon & Mary Estell Cannon, was born on October 29, 1958 in Dallas Texas. He had a happy childhood with his brother Jim, moving around wherever his father's career in Education would take the family. They eventually settled long term in Lufkin, TX, where Bill would graduate from Lufkin High School. Bill then enrolled & attended Texas A&M University for a few years, before taking some time off from college to live in Colorado for a short period. Eventually, Bill returned to Texas and earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Stephen F Austin University. He then spent several years pursuing a career in sales and management, which led him to live in various & exciting locales all across the United States, such as California, Massachusetts, & Florida.

Bill met Mary Evans at the island on Lake Travis, near Austin, Texas early on in 2011. Although they met later on in their lives, they instantly formed a connection and proved inseparable not long after their relationship had begun. Only a few years later, they would be wed on July 2, 2013, while vacationing on the island of Kuai, Hawaii.

Bill was a very caring, generous and kind man; he instantly formed a bond with Mary and her children, & spent the remainder of his years being a positive influence in each of their lives. In addition to always offering aid to Mary's family whenever he could be of service to them, he also spent several years living with & taking direct care of his parents once they had become elderly. He touched many lives of family and friends over the years and will always be remembered as a loving, gentle soul for that kindness.

Bill enjoyed boating, football and spending time with family. He loved cultivating fun experiences and memories with his loved ones, which is why he helped plan and coordinate several trips with his newfound family in the time that they shared with one another. In short, life was always an adventure with Bill around.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Alan & Mary Cannon. He is survived by his brother, Jim Cannon, his wife, Mary Evans, & his step sons, Chris Evans and Brian Evans. We will love & miss you Bill. Thank you for being a part of our lives.
