Wilburn Alister "WA" Noack Jr., was born October 16, 1940, Houston, Texas to Wilburn A. Noack and Johnnie Ray Noack. WA was a graduate of Reagan High School and attended Sam Houston State University.

June 5, 1962, WA entered the US Marine Corps and after boot champ was transferred to MCB Camp Pendleton, California where he served as a key member of the US Marine Corps data processing team for three years. After completing his active tour was transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve Houston, Texas where he server another three years before receiving an honorable discharged on April 3, 1968. After leaving the Marine Corps, WA facilitated the installation of the first online, interactive Banking systems in the Houston area for First Pasadena State Bank. His entrepreneurial spirit took him into heading up the conversion and upgrading of the Information Systems Technology for Hercules, Koomey Inc. and Best American. He later retired to establish Scooten Cycles LLC; a family owned business to showcase the talents of his son, Scott, and advance his career.

WA and Margo were married on July 25, 1964 at the Ranch House Chapel, Camp Pendleton, California by the Chaplain, United States Navy.  WA died peacefully on January 9, 2018, after five years of battling Cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, WA and Johnnie Noack and stepsister Betty Miller.  Survivors include his wife, Margo Evans Noack and son, Scott Eric Noack.
