Wilbur Lee Finke, Sr. was born in Whitehall, Texas on May 14,1931, and passed away in Cypress, Texas on February 25, 2019 at the age of 87.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellie and Gus Finke, his brother, Fred Finke and his wife ,Clara, his brother in law, Joe Dodson and his wife, Arlene and his sister in law, Patricia Buckelew and her husband, Roy (Buck).

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sue Dodson Finke; his son, Wilbur Lee Finke, Jr. and wife Beverly Joy Parrish; grandchildren, Meagan Elizabeth Finke, Kelsey Anne Finke, and Brian Lee Finke; and brother in law, Marion Dodson and his wife,Trisha. Further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Lee will fondly be remembered by family and friends as a kind and loving man with a warm sense of humor. He loved spending time with people; he never met a stranger and he was always there to lend a 'helping hand'. He proudly served in the US Marines during the Korean War. His hobbies were refinishing furniture and working outside on activities at his home and at his property in Washington County.

His family will receive friends and loved ones at a visitation from 5-8pm on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd., Houston, TX 77065.  A funeral service for Lee will be held at 1pm  on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11522 Telge Rd., Cypress, TX 77429 with burial to follow at the Salem Lutheran Church cemetery located at 2373 FM 2988 Rd, Navasota, Texas 77868.
