Wesley Lee Johnston

Born May 28, 1927 in El Campo, TX passed away peacefully Wednesday,May 27, 2020 in Willis, TX just one day short of 93 years.

Wesley married the love of his life, Joyce Ann Krumrey on June 17, 1947 and shared their love for 49 years.

He worked for Exxon for 42 years and was a great provider for his family. A perfect example of a true family man.

If you met Dad, you could see he was a true gentleman, a man of his words, a kind hearted soul and a very proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We were blessed with his love and guidance throughout our lives.

Forever in our Hearts.

The Family, preceded in death by loving wife Joyce in August 1996.

Survived by sons, Thomas Jay "TJ" Johnston and wife Sharon, Don Wesley Johnston and wife Reba Sue.

Called Paw Paw Jo by his loving grandchildren, Brandi Johnston, Thomas "Smokey" Johnston and wife Amy, Tashawna "TJ" Neumann and husband Shane, Damon Johnston and wife Ashleigh, Crystal Schonefeld.

And blessed by the love of his great-grandchildren, Casen, Karli,  Dayton, Colt, Ty, Addison and Harper.

And many friends.

The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to both the Olympia Senior Home Care in Willis, Texas and the Reliant Hospice Staff for their love, support and guidance during dad's short stay with them.
