Wendell Chris Haman,74, of Cypress, Texas, is a victim of the Covid -19 pandemic.

January 31, 2021, Wendell Chris passed away peacefully with his sons by his side.

Mr. Haman graduated from Towner High School in Towner, ND, in 1964.     Wendell Chris served proudly in the U.S Navy from 1964-1968.

In 1968 Mr. Haman married Linda (Hannan) Haman in Casper, Wyoming.

He worked in the uranium mines and primarily in the energy sector while he raised his family. His middle child would sometimes joke that after all his father spent in the uranium mines, he was lucky to have been born at all. Wendell Chris had many interests, especially in collecting; For his second act, with his gift of gab and a head for numbers, he founded his festival vending business with his wife, allowing him to make friends and to travel across the country many times. Later in life, he enjoyed his time as the family patriarch, doting on his grandchildren and great grandchild.

Wendell Chris is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Haman, his sons Christopher (Mandy) Haman, Scott Haman, And Thomas Haman. His Grandchildren Alyssa, Christian, and Alexandrea (Ally) Haman, and Great Grandchild Addison Haman. His sisters Polly Johner-Finstad, Judy Cichos, Liz Davis, and Connie Carr and brother Kirby Haman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Christ Haman, his mother, Marge Haman, his sisters Sharon Beaulieu, and Betty Rose Haman.

All held him in the highest regard and loved him dearly. He lived his life as an example of strength and leadership.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from 5-7 P.M. at Klein Funeral Home 9719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, Tx 77065.

The Funeral will be held at the VA National Cemetery on February 10, 2021, at 10:15 A.M. located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston Tx 77038.
