Obituary

Wayne Walter Moureau was born in Holland, Indiana in 1941. He had many siblings and lived a rural farm life upbringing. Wayne was very curious for knowledge and read every book in his town's library. After the death of his father, he decided to strike out on his own and dropped out of the 8th grade to begin helping support his family. He lived in California briefly and got into the flooring business and did work for several notable people such as a William Harrah of Harrah's Hotel and Casino. He decided to make Houston his home where he remained the rest of his life. He built businesses and a family and flourished in both. His last business was open for 48 years and was a staple in the Spring community. Wayne was a wildly funny prankster with an immense sense of humor and sharp intellect. He was an avid reader and loved the American West. His relationships could be complex and his whiskey too strong but he loved big and left his mark on this world. He impacted everyone he ever met. The legend will live on though the countless stories told by the family he has left behind.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Thomas, his mother Marie and many siblings.

He is survived by his wife Erika Moureau, son Clint Moureau and wife Penny, son Carter Moureau and wife Missy, son Chris Moureau and wife Samantha, daughter Jennifer Goebel and husband Jeff and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
