Walter Wayne Smith, 83, of Tomball, passed away August 26, 2018.  He was born November 1, 1934, in Houston to the late Walter Thomas and Dorothy Mae House Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eraina Ruffin Smith; son, Forest Wayne Smith and wife Becky; daughter, Sherry Renee Martin and Rick Lewis; grandchildren, Bradley Thomas Wayne Smith and wife Elisabet, Justin B. Martin, Kyle W. Martin,  Trevor J. Martin, and Cade Calhoun; great granddaughters, Abby and Emily.

Mr. Smith served his community as an officer for Tomball Police Department, Harris County Constable's Office and Harris County Sheriff's Office and eventually retired from Harris County Road and Bridge Division.
