Walter A. Marks

Walter Marks, age 84, of Spring, TX, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Lillian, and brothers Robert and Eugene. Walter will be remembered by his loving wife of 28 years, Lynn, son Walter Marks Jr. (Mary ), Daughters Denise Waterbury (Mike), Mary Grace Jones (Richard), Susan Marks and brothers Charlie Marks and Donald Marks. He will be missed greatly by 3 grandchildren, Deanna, Tricia, Scott, and 1 great grandson, Alex, along with extended family members and loving friends. Walt is best remembered for his kindness, willingness to help others, and his witty personality. His enjoyments in life were cooking for friends and family, and in his earlier years scuba diving in The Great Lakes, sailing and swimming. Walter and Lynn had the opportunity to travel extensively with friends and family and the trips were always met with adventure, laughter, and wonderful memories. Walt loved his two dogs, Dollie and Minnie. He loved his family deeply always cherishing the family gatherings.

Walter will be missed greatly, but never forgotten.

The Marks family would like to thank Walter's caretakers, Ziera, Dana, and Heart to Heart Hospice Care for their love and attention to his needs in his most difficult days.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Monday, October 8 at 1pm.The family request no flowers. A donation to S.A.F.E.
