Walter Ernest Clay was born on June 30, 1947 and departed this life on March 4, 2020.

Walter  is survived by Bessie Clay, his devoted wife of 38 years, his four daughters, Erin (Woody), Lisa, Shannon and Tauscha.  Walter leaves his  4 brothers, James (Deborah), Wayne (Sarah), Adrian (Robin), Errol, and a multitude of nieces and nephew and other relatives to remember his life.

Walter was preceded in death by his son Michael Clay, his mother Dorothy (Henderson) Lewis, his father Leon N. Clay and his bother Leon Clay.

Walter was educated in Baltimore City Schools and attended Baltimore City College prior to serving as Sergeant in the Army National Guard.  Walter worked for ExxonMobile Corporation where he retired after 40 years of service.

He was a husband, a father and a man of his beliefs.
