Vival Lorine Holt was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 8, 1932 to Sadie and Olen Prestidge.  At a very young age, Lorine and her family moved to Houston, Texas.

Lorine married the love of her life, Eugene L. Holt on December 3, 1949.  They resided in Conroe, Texas.  Lorine retired from Conroe Independent School District as a cafeteria manager.  After her husband's death in the year 2000, Lorine moved to Katy, Texas to be near her family.  Lorine loved her church and was a member of Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, Texas.

Lorine Holt entered peacefully into Eternal rest on November 22, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her parents Sadie and Olen Prestidge, husband, Eugene L. Holt, brother James Harold Prestidge, Sr. and wife Jean, sister, Doris Jean Snowden, brother-in- law, Floyd Holt and wife Jimmie.  Lorine is survived by her brother-in-law, Jack Snowden.

Aunt Oween (Lorine) will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews:  Beverly Winkelmann and husband Arnold, Lynn Nelms and husband Jerry, Donald Snowden and wife Tammy, James Harold Prestidge, Jr. and wife Sheryl, Sherrie Prestidge Murray, Rene Nettles and husband Dan, Kelly Holt and wife Jessica, Kim Holt and numerous great nieces and great nephews.  Lorine was heard more than once saying her nieces and nephews were like her own children.  She loved to cook and her pies were always the hit of the party.

The family would like to thank Tammy Snowden for always being there to help Lorine.  She was a Godsend to Lorine and the family is forever thankful for her caring ways.

Visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas from 9 to 11 on Wednesday, November 28th.  Grave side service to follow at Seidel Cemetery in Rose Hill, Texas.
