Virginia Jo Smith Witty, 87, passed away August 29, 2016.  She is survived by her son: Ross Witty and wife Cheryl, grandchildren: Kyle Witty, Kailyn Martin and Husband Heath Martin, Kimberly Witty: nephew, Jimmy Smith and wife Sandra and niece, Janet Blackwell and husband Randy Blackwell.. Virginia was born on October 14, 1928 in Atlanta, TX. Her family moved to Dallas a short time later where Virginia spent her school years. Virginia married the love of her life, Charles Witty, in 1950. A year later, their son Michael was born, and in 1955 the Witty family headed south to make their home in Houston. Their second son, Ross, came along in 1958. Virginia spent her working career in the Insurance industry, and was always proud of how few days of work she missed during her tenure. Virginia was a loving, caring, gentle soul who lived her life the right way – anyone meeting her for the first time was made to feel that she had known them her whole life . A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1st at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX, 77375. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to The Church at Creek's End, 20010 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX, 77379.
