Virginia Lea Lewellyn, nea Newgent, was born on November 14, 1966, in Titus, Texas. She was the daughter of William Ralph 'Bill' Newgent, Sr and June Sue Marchbanks Stuckey. Her father passed in 1987.  Granddaughter of James Ross Newgent, Sr and Julia Emlie Alice Sibley-Newgent, Lamon Patrick Marchbanks, Sr. and Betty Sue Fults-Miller, all having passed. She left this life at home on November 21, 2024.

The sister of Jean Marie (Charles 'Eli') Whitney and James (Tammy) Newgent. She was preceded in death by her brother William Ralph 'Billy' Newgent, Jr.

Virginia married Mark T. Lewellyn on October 26, 2007, and was the mother of Brian Payne, Heather (Adam) Korenek, Krystina Payne, Rebecca (Daniel) Garza, Autumn Rodriguez, Taylor Rodriguez.  She was the Grandmother of 18 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She considered her daughter-n-law Rachel Metting as her daughter and good friend.

The family will receive visitors Monday, November 25th, from 5pm to 8pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375. Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park 249.
