Virginia Lee (McNeely) Land passed away September 8, 2018 in Montgomery, Texas. She was born October 13, 1926 in Cisco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Weldon C. Land. Mrs. Land is survived by her children, Carol Kellum and her husband Randy, Steven Land and his wife Susan, Sharon Irwin and her husband John and Cindy Williams and her husband Carl; grandchildren, Allison Horsley and her husband Jack, Garrett Land, Ryan Simpson, Meagan Nye and her husband Austin and Dr. Cody Simpson and his wife Dr. Krista Simpson; great-grandchildren, Shelby Sikes, Kyler Wallgren, Jaxon Simpson, Jace Simpson, Patrick Nye and Laura Nye; brother-in-law Bobby Stiles; nieces and nephews, Kathy Hargrove, Linda Wade, Nancy Wallace, Robert Stiles, Anne Evans, Kathy Brown, Beth Garwood, Jeff Brown, Philip Harris, David Harris, Dianne Butler, Renee Sparks and Mark Harris and numerous great-nieces and nephews, as well as her life long friend Ann Leyh of New Braunfels, Texas. Mrs. Land will be buried with her husband at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
