Virgie Helen Drabek Pilcik, 87, of Tomball, Texas passed away peacefully on June 18th, 2019 in her home. She was born in Orchard, Texas on August 1st, 1931 to Henry and Annie Drabek. She married Raymond Valentine Pilcik on July 12th, 1948. Virgie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She started working as a Sales Associate at Joske's in 1966 and retired from Dillard's in 2000. She volunteered at Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital for two years and at Transitional Hospital (a long-term acute care facility) for 3 years. She was a very devoted Catholic with strong religious beliefs. She enjoyed eating Mexican food along with a margarita. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren until the great grandchildren came along.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Otten and husband, Arnold; and son, Larry Pilcik and wife, Debbie; grandsons, Brian Pilcik and wife Miranda; and Nathan Stephens; granddaughter, Kelly Woodson and husband, Christopher; great grandchildren, Sheldon, Cash, Kaelyn, Natalee, and Dylan; sister in law, Rita Drabek; and brother in law, John Ruether. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond, grandson Stephen Ray Stephens, siblings Ella Bartos, Johnnie Drabek, Francis Ruether, and Emlie Motl.
