Victor "Vic" Joseph Rodrigue went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was 63 years old.

Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He was born on October 15, 1959, in Houma, Louisiana. On October 13, 2012 he married Candace "Candy" Marie Flores and had an exciting and loving marriage for 10 years. Vic had a deep respect and love for the Catholic Church and leaned on his faith in Christ. He was a Eucharistic Minister from 1988 – 1993 at his home church in Louisiana.

Left to cherish his beautiful memory are his children: Ashley L. Morris, her husband Chase Morris, son Erik T. Gonzalez and daughter Noelle N. Gonzalez, as well as his granddaughter Mila Grace Morris. Victor also leaves behind three sisters and brother, Melanie Hewitt (Husband, William Hewitt) Lisa Brown (Husband, Harold Brown), Clair Larson and Lanny Larson, whom he loved deeply.

Victor demonstrated the true meaning of unconditional love in the way he loved Erik and Noelle though they were not his biological children.  He absolutely adored and cherished his daughter Ashley and was so proud of the life her and Chase were providing for his granddaughter Mila, who was the Apple of his eye.

Victor attended Louisiana State University and Nicholls State University. Victor worked in the Oil & Gas Industry.  He was in the industry for over 30 years, working on various projects as a Project Manager. He loved to hunt and fish. He was also passionate about sports.  Especially the New Orleans Saints. Vic was a generous person.  He was intelligent and had a quick wit about him.  Vic showed his love to others by his love for cooking.  Vic may have lived in Houston for a while, but his Cajun roots never left him.  He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
