Obituary

Victor Julio Cardozo went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017. He was born in Colombia on April 27, 1939.

At 21 years old, he made the decision to move to the United States and his love of cars is what led him to be a mechanic for the majority of his life. He ended his career after working for Toyota for 23 years as a production supervisor. His second passion in life was music where he and his wife owned and operated a popular Latin nightclub for many years.

His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren and he enjoyed cooking for them. He loved life and was a hardworking individual. He was an avid soccer fan who loved both watching and playing the sport. He was loved and blessed and his faith was strong.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty F. Cardozo. He leaves behind daughter and son in law, Allan and Betty Luz Salmon and grandsons Cameron, Jacob and Noah; Daughter Elizabeth Jane Cardozo and granddaughter Elizabeth Aristizabal; Sons Jimmy Cardozo, Victor Brian Cardozo and Richard Cardozo; Daughter Patricia Vidales and granddaughters Raquel and Natalia; Son Victor J. Cardozo Jr. and granddaughters Sofia and Amanda. He is also survived by his sister Maria Oliva Cardozo de Nieto.

We will miss you Papi. You will forever be our angel in Heaven. Siempre estará con nosotros en nuestro corazón.

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29th, at Klein Funeral Home located at 1400 West Main, Tomball, Texas, 77375. A funeral procession to his final resting place will follow after the service. The service will be held in Spanish.
