Vickie Lee (Day) Eaton, age 70, formerly of Mount Vernon, Ohio, died Friday January 27, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was born on May 1, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard and Ruth Day, owners of Day's Jewelers located on Main Street in Mount Vernon. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1964, and went on to attain a BA degree from The Ohio State University in 1968. Vickie was an avid reader, and also loved painting, arts and crafts, and spending time with her family.

Vickie is survived by her husband of 50 years Richard Eaton, son Jon Eaton (Amber), daughter Megan Wolf (Matt), Brother Richard Day Jr. (Barbara), and granddaughter Avery Wolf.
