Vickie Lynn Cook joined her Savior at Heaven's gates on September 17, 2018, in the early morning hours, at the age of 52. Vickie, diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, faced it head on with measured grace and immense strength, choosing life daily and demonstrating to those she loved a passion for life. In passing, as she wished, Vickie was surrounded and comforted by family as she was called home.

Vickie was a mother, stepmom, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and a friend to many. When Vickie would step into a room the first thing you would have been likely to notice is her smile. She was always full of joy, laughing, joking, and being silly.  She loved her family and friends passionately.

Vickie is preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Edeker, sister, Debbie Posinski, and father, William (Stan) Edeker. Vickie is survived by her mother Joyce Edeker, Son Gene Williams and wife Christina and Grandson Benjamin, Daughter Brittney Williams Saenz and husband Daniel, her brother Robert Hoehler and wife Linnie Hoehler, nieces Melissa Lopez and husband Isaias, Chelsey Hoeler and great niece Halle Hoeler, Nephew Robbie Hoeler, brother in law Rodney Posinski, niece and nephew Madison and Mason Posinski, her stepdaughters Krystie Frederick, husband Chad and children, Katie Brooks, husband Brandon and children and Kelsie May, husband Terry and children.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 21, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. The funeral will take place a t 10 a.m. Saturday, September 22, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Klein Memorial Park - F.M. 2920, Tomball.

Serving as pallbearers are Robbie Hoehler, Bret Ivey, Kevin Lukas, Al Lesnik, Chris Maas, and Mike Daniels.
