Vicki Lee (Platz) Clark, loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and good friend passed away on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 78. Vicki was born on January 30, 1943, to Elmer and Luella (Shook) Platz in Detroit, Michigan. She is a graduate of Dondero High School in Royal Oak. She met and married her husband, Terry and they later moved to Texas in the mid 1970's, settling in the Cypress area.
She was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 42 years, Terry Clark, as well as her parents. Vicki is survived by her daughter, Terri Scott and husband Bill; her son, David Clark and significant other Shannon; her sister, Jan Raines and husband Walt; her grandchildren, Christina Howard and husband Don, Brian Scott, Justin Scott and wife Jennifer; great-granddaughters Shelby and Peyton Robertson, Evelyn and Adeline Scott; great-great-granddaughter Roselynn Baker, in addition to numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Vicki worked in the accounting field, where she met many wonderful friends. She retired from Champions Golf Club, after serving for 25 years as the head of the accounting office.
Vicki was adored by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed for her compassionate and loving nature. She believed that if someone needed help and she had the means to do so, that she was always going to do what she could to help. She was a very special person, who leaves us with many treasured memories to sustain us in the future. Vicki enjoyed doing things with her family, such as traveling, shopping, going to movies, dining out, attending holiday festivities and family celebrations.
Vicki was an avid animal lover and frequently donated to rescue organizations. She adopted many dogs over the years (her fur babies), treating each one like a beloved child. In lieu of flowers, the family asks
that you contribute in her memory to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
A Memorial Celebration is being held at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77355, on Friday, April 23 at 2 pm.
