Veronica Ann Noël (Kirby), known affectionately to her family as Nana and to her friends as Ronnie, passed away October 9, 2026, at her home in Tomball, Texas. She was 81 years old. Ronnie was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing, and many dear friends came to visit and pray over her during her time of need. The family is forever grateful for this act of kindness.

Born on October 28, 1944, in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, Veronica was the daughter of Permilla Kirby (Van Buskirk) and Sumner B. Kirby. Ronnie moved to Foxboro, MA in her early childhood where she met her lifelong friend of almost 70 years Mary Lamar, many other lifelong friends and where she held wonderful lifetime memories. Foxboro has always been a special place in her heart. Her deep family roots of Foxboro and her love for Vincent and Christine Igo is where she has always called home.

Ronnie was a retired nurse, following the path of her mother, and focused on Geriatrics during her career. Her compassion and commitment to her work reflected on her dedication to her family and friends. Ronnie was a member of St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church in Spring, Texas. She was a member of the local Catholic Daughters of the Americas participating in the religious, charitable, and educational apostolate of the church. She was a member of the Alter Society and Senior Saints where she met so many wonderful ladies who became her friends, and where she enjoyed the fellowship and activities. Ronnie loved spending time with her family, craft shows, playing dominos and doing ceramics. Her family will cherish all the wonderful pieces she has made over the years.

Her legacy lives on through her daughters, Susan Noël McNulty - her children Amber McNulty Staup (Billy), Kaci McNulty Jackson (Jesse) and Tara McNulty, Michelle Noël - her daughter Tausha Noël Breaux (Caitlin) and Becky Noël (Jeremy) – her children Jaden O’Bryan and Hudson Mazyn. She adored her great grandchildren Brandon Jackson, Avery Baltz, Gavyn McNulty and Noah Breaux

Her family will miss her terribly and we will forever feel the void of her absence. She will always be remembered for her pumpkin bread, her love of the beach, red cardinals and telling stories of her childhood.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30am on Friday, October 23, 2026, followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church located at 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, Spring, TX 77389. Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to join together for a memorial luncheon in the church hall.

Somewhere in my heart

Beneath all my grief and pain

Is a smile I will always wear

At the sound of your dear name.
