Valerie Blanche Bell, 89, of Tomball, passed away Friday January 17th 2025. She was born May 4th, 1935, in Lewisham, England to the late John Edward Harris and Blanche Beatrice (Dean) Harris.

She is survived by her daughters; Karen Kleinpeter and her husband Paul, Sue Townley and her husband Jamie.

Valerie is survived by her grandchildren; Brittany Scott and her husband Eric, Matthew Kleinpeter, Aaron Kleinpeter and his wife Marina, Jacob Kleinpeter, Sarah Sommers and her husband Steven, Sean Townley, Jordan Townley, Jessica Townley, Samuel Townley and his wife Talynn.

She was also blessed with her five great grandchildren: Valerie Sommers, Laurel Sommers, Heidi Sommers, James Sommers, and Greyson Kleinpeter.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Harris, and sister, Wendy Doerr.

Valerie was an extremely smart and successful woman with a business career at a small oil services company. She was a competitive bingo and mahjong player and enjoyed knitting blankets for others. She loved to travel and lived all over the world.

Valerie was an extremely generous lady who loved doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was there for every football game, drama recital, graduation, wedding, baby announcement and so much more. Valerie was a sought after companion for coffee dates and dinner dates. Her sass and her humor were always a valued part of every family dinner and game night. Her laughter and the roll of her eyes were enough to send the room into fits of joy. She had a presence that would fill a room and left a mark on everyone who met her.

Valerie had a heart for animals, always with a cat or small herd of dogs to keep her company. She loved watching for deer and feeding the hummingbirds that graced her garden.

Valerie loved the 23rd Psalm and her great Shepherd the Lord. Valerie was a gift sent from above that touched us deep in our hearts and has now returned home through the pearly gates of Heaven as our guardian angel until the day we meet again. Valerie Blanche Bell will always be loved and remembered by us all.

A Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 25th at 4pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, with Pastor John Bray officiating.
