Obituary

Tyler Muir Spillman, of Montgomery, Texas went to meet our Heavenly Father on October 9, 2017 at the young age of 18.

Tyler was born on December 18, 1998 to Justin Spillman and Ako Miyazaki Spillman in Covington, Louisiana. From there he moved to Tyler, Texas, and Austin, Texas before settling in Spring, Texas where he attended Kuehnle Elementary School, Strack Middle School and Klein Collins High School. Tyler was a fervent football player; his love for the game was monumental which presented opportunities for him to grow into a hardworking and passionate young man. Not only was football a substantial part of his life but so were his friends and family. He was truly a social butterfly and it was impossible not to appreciate his company. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones as well as making people laugh with ease and had a profound love for music. Tyler was offered numerous scholarship opportunities for both his academic and athletic achievements and chose Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas to be his "home". In addition to the long lasting mark he made at Klein Collins High School he developed even more relationships as a first year student by playing football at TVCC.

Tyler had a vast talent, was exceedingly progressive in his walk as a Christian and had a sense of humor that was unparalleled.

He is survived by his father Justin, his mother Ako, his step-mother Yanisse, his sisters Avery, Kayleigh and Aubrey, his grandparents and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

A Memorial Service for Tyler will be held in "The Lodge" Student Building of Champion Forest Baptist Church, 15555 Stuebner Airline, Houston, Texas 77069 at 11:30 am on Saturday October 14, 2017 with a reception to immediately follow in one of the buildings on campus.

Flowers can be sent to Champion Forest Baptist Church or in lieu of flowers a gofundme.com site has been set up by one of his trainers Cam Nwosu to offset expenses.

He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
