Tuyet Thi Nguyen, 83, born December 30, 1932 in Hanoi, Vietnam, the daughter of August Lormier and Trang Thi Nguyen, passed away on Thursday December 1, 2016.

A devoted spouse, mother and grandmother, Tuyet was a long time member and supporter of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she volunteered for food preparation and distribution for festivals and raised money for charities.

Tuyet was preceded in death by her parents and son, Lee Duong. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Philip Tu Duong, 4 sons, Lap Duong and wife Phuong of Germany, Linh Duong and wife Thi of Spring, Vinh Duong of Houston, Quang Duong of Houston, and daughter Nancy Duong Nguyen of Houston. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

A ceremony will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 4:30pm Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, with visitation starting at 4:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday, December 8, and Friday, December 9, 2016. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6550 Fairbanks North Houston Road, Houston, with Rev. Dinh Ngoc Thao, officiating.  Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
