Troy Kent Hopper passed away early Monday morning, September 18, 2023, at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center.

Born in 1938, he grew up farming, served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 and went on to founding two successful companies and earning two patents. He married Faye Ann Bates in 1961 and they had three children: Dana, Stacey, and Rodney.

Troy is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Faye Ann; his three children; two grandchildren, Russell and Brandon Moon; and five great-grandchildren, Thatcher, Langston, Beckett, Cadence, and Drita.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, at New Hope Cemetery in Stamford, Texas. A celebration of life service will held in his honor at a later date to be announced.
