Toni Kay Christopher was born in Houston, Texas on December 7, 1968, and went to her eternal home on October 28, 2021 in Waller, Texas after a long battle with cancer.

With an abiding faith and heart of gold, Toni's impact on the world was deep and wide. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Christopher. Toni is survived by her daughter, Kaitlin Christopher; stepson, Chad Christopher; her parents, Eddy and Norma Welborn; brother, Shaun Welborn; nephew, Zach Welborn; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Toni grew up in Cypress, Texas, and was a 1987 graduate of Cy-Fair High School. She earned her B.A. in Spanish in 1991 at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. After spending her early career in the corporate world at Texas Process Equipment and Waste Management, love brought Toni back to her rural roots. Toni married William "Billy" Christopher on March 12, 1999 and they spent the rest of their lives together on Billy's home and farm property in Waller until he passed away in 2017. Toni and Billy's greatest joy was their daughter Kaitlin, born April 28, 2002. She savored every moment raising "her Cheetah" who bears Toni's remarkable strength. Toni spent the last 23 years of her life as the Marketing Director at Camp Allen. Her leadership, genuine care for others, and attention to detail made her an integral part of Camp Allen's ministry. She was dearly beloved at the camp, and her coworkers were like family to her.

Regardless of the suffering and loss Toni faced over the years, she was always known for the extravagant way she loved people. Toni lit up the room when she walked in, and she did everything with excellence. She loved Zydeco music, her community at New Hope United Methodist Church, her countless friends, all her animals (each perfectly named), her World Vision sponsored child, Dalton, and dreaming up the next bucket list trip with her best friend and mother, Norma, always by her side.

As Toni battled cancer, she continually asked God for time to share His work. She spent every day on earth doing exactly that; Toni was a good and faithful servant. While the loss is heavy, it is comforting to imagine Billy doing the jitterbug with his "Sweet Pea" in heaven.

A funeral service for Toni will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354. She will be laid to rest in Field Store Cemetery in Waller immediately following the funeral service. A reception will be held afterwards at Camp Allen's Bishop Doyle Center, 18800 FM 362, Navasota TX, 77868.

In lieu of flowers, it is Toni's wish that loved ones would make a memorial donation to Camp Allen's Summer Camp Scholarship Fund ( campallen.org/give-online ) or child sponsorship through World Vision ( worldvision.org/sponsor-a-child ).
