On June 6, 1939 Tommie Nell Watson-Stewart was born to Ruth and Hugh Watson.  She attended Kohrville Elementary & George Washington Carver High School.

She married her teenage sweetheart Albert Stewart on October 21, 1957.  In this union they had six children, Carlton Stewart (Bertha), Lynda Witherspoon, Gwen Robinson, Alvin Stewart, Pamela Stewart, and Mark Mayberry.

In 1972 God saved her and she joined Carverdale Fellowship COGIC where she remained until her death.  She was an intercessor for her church and community which she loved dearly.  Her home was open to everyone and she shared her love and affection with the entire community!

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, Special Father (Elder C.E. Solomon), 2 sisters, and 2 brothers

She leaves to cherish great memories: her sweetheart Albert Stewart, 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, her God-Children: LaVearn Ivy, Velma Devreaux, Sharon Cossey-Johnson, Sylvia Holiday(Cookie), Mary Williams, Johnnie Stewart, Richard Ware, as well as her special children and grandchildren who affectionately called her Mama, Granny, or Aunt Tommie Nell.
